Condition your hair deeply to provide an appropriate amount of nourishment and moisture. Use nourishing hair masks and conditioners, homemade masks can do wonders too.

2. Avoid Heat Styling

Hair styling using heat can look awesome temporarily but it highly damages your hair in the longer run.

Avoid blow drying your hair as much as possible instead let them air dry to reduce heat damage. Air drying helps prevent split ends and tames frizz.

We can’t avoid heat styling tools completely, but at least we can reduce the use of them. Before using heat on hair always use hair protectant to protect them from heat.

3. Intake Nutrients

Have food with high water content for example fruits and vegetables like watermelon, muskmelon, cucumber, tomato, orange.

Also seeds and nuts work wonders.

4. Sun Protection

Before stepping out, cover your head with a scarf or hat to create a barrier between scalp and environment. It helps protect your scalp and hair roots and prevent them from weakening and drying out.

Keep your hair protected by hairstyles like loose braids, buns, ponytails. This reduces the scalp exposure to pollution, sun and environment.

You can also use UV filtering sprays if you can't minimize the sun exposure. This can also protect your hair to an extent.

5. Changes in lifestyle

Use satin scrunchies and pillow covers to reduce friction, it will help to tame the frizz down and the hair will be less prone to breakage.

Practicing yoga or any other physical exercise helps the oxygen to reach the brain and renew blood cells, resulting in increased hair growth and good hair quality.
